As our World Confectionery Conference line-up is now fully finalised, there will be a prime added opportunity for additional evening networking linked to our key industry event.

This year’s sector showcase is scheduled for 10 September at America Square One in London will see keynote presentations from Cargill, Ferrero, Caobisco, as well as major insights from our knowledge partner, Euromonitor International, to ensure attendees will gain the inside track on major trends that are hleping shape our combined global markets.

As an added bonus, we will be continuing our programme with an entirely optional extended networking opportunity, which will be exclusively available to attendees of the conference in the form of drinks and a meal to be held close by our venue, at St Katharine’s Dock from 530pm, on 10 September. Anyone wishing to participate in the evening meal (which will be at participants’ own expense), please contact editor Neill Barston at [email protected] by 31 July to express their interest, as numbers will be strictly limited.

Moreover, for one week only, in celebration of World Chocolate Day this week, we are offering the return of our early bird entry rates for the event, with registration taking place via our dedicated website.

While our latest conference, which is our fifth live event, packed full of presentations spanning the complete spectrum of the industry, from chocolate companies such as Colombia’s Cordillera, vegan markets featuring Plamil Foods,  through to education topics from Germany’s ZDS  confectionery training college, and ingredients from the likes of Canada’s Bartek, the dynamic agenda places sustainability, innovation and business resilience at its heart.

Notably our awards’ deadline has now been given a short extension to ensure entries reach us, so please ensure that you place any nominations with us by 23 July across our six categories via our website (confectioneryconference.com).

Editor Neill Barston commented: “Our London event in September is fast-approaching and we’ve collectively worked hard to ensure that we stage a genuinely engaging programme that tackles some of the most meaningful subjects affecting our sector.

“Whether that’s how companies are responding to volatility in supply chains, the challenges of reformulation and meeting expectations of ever-more demanding consumers, through to what is shaping finished product and machinery development across the world. With so many major developments across our sector, this is set to be a highly engaging conference.

“Our day’s agenda will have plenty to engage people right across the industry, but from previous experience we have found that attendees have highly valued additional networking which we will engage with through our optional extended gathering in London for the evening of our event.”
