Hershey brings the Halloween fun early with core range extensions

Hershey is placing itself in a ‘spooktacularly’ fine position for the upcoming Halloween season with some key additions to its seasonal ranges, including some cartoon classics, writes Neill Barston.

The major manufacturer is taking its inspiration from vintage kids favourite, Charlie Brown (celebrating “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown) with its Reese’s Pumpkin, and Reese’s Miniatures, featuring the Peanuts gang – including the much-loved Snoopy character.

Furthermore, a new ghoulishly good Kit Kat shape will be making its debut for the region, alongside some other major offerings such as Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Crème Harry Potter Magical Friends Collection. This features key characters such as Hedwig, Dobby, Buckbeak, and Fawkes.

There will also be special edition Shaq-a-licious XL Gummies in original flavours and faces in new individual wrappers just in time to dish out on Halloween.

To ensure consumers have the best mix of Halloween treats this year, Hershey’s new assortment of snack-size chocolate and sweet bags featuring beloved classic varieties for every taste bud.

Whether you’re a KitKat chocolate fanatic, Twizzlers lover or caramel obsessed, there’s a new assortment bag for every trick-or-treater, ranging from 30 to 60-count offerings including:

Among the highlights are: Halloween Lovers – Snack Size KitKat Witch’s Brew, Counts, Ghost Toast, and Milk Chocolate Assortment (60 ct). This assortment features the marshmallow magic of KitKat Witch’s Brew, the classic crunch of Milk Chocolate in a brand new shape, and the cinnamon toast delight of Ghost Toast.
