Cocoba forms key partnership for latest Zog themed chocolate series

UK-based Cocoba Chocolate has moved to expand its portfolio with its latest Zog themed range, which has been devised in collaboration with licensor Magic Light Pictures, writes Neill Barston.

The Kent-based company, which recently created what is believed to be the UK’s largest Easter Egg (see our video interview with company founder Darren Litton below), has gained a noted reputation for its premium confectionery linked to popular children’s television characters.

As the company confirmed, its latest series includes three delicious new products – the Zog Hot Chocolate Stirrer, Zog Chocolate Bites, and the Zog Star Bar, offering a slice of the key character’s magic created in Belgian chocolate form.

As the business noted, the launch marks the 15th anniversary of Zog, the beloved children’s character from the award-winning book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, and brings the joy of the story to life in a truly delicious way.

Magic Light Pictures, the award-winning production company behind the major animated films, worked closely with Cocoba to ensure the products capture the spirit of the character and his heart-warming adventures.

Moreover, as the company added, its Zog Hot Chocolate Stirrer has been created for those cosy nights in, offering a fun and interactive way to enjoy the brand’s signature Belgian chocolate. The Zog Chocolate Bites are targeting the sharing product market, made with creamy milk chocolate and playful Zog-themed designs. Rounding out the collection, the Zog Star Bar combines smooth milk chocolate with crunchy star-shaped crispies.

Darren Litton, Founder of Cocoba Chocolate, recently spoke to Confectionery Production, and enthused that its chocolate egg adventures had served to underline the technical capabilities of its team, which has remained dedicated to producing quality new offerings.
