Ferrero to invest in Canadian plant

27 October 2020 – Fourty new jobs will be created at Ferrero Rocher’s Brantford, Canada production facility on top of the current 780 positions following the announcement of a $9.2 million government loan to the company.

Ferrero Rocher, the manufacturer of products including Tic Tacs and Nutella, has announced a total investment of $30.6 million in the company’s main facility supplying the North American market.

The company’s investment will mean a new packaging line for the Nutella brand, provide new packaging machines for its Rocher pralines product and provide a computerised warehouse management system.
