LoeschPack targets debut appearance at Sweets & Snacks Expo supplier showcase

German confectionery packaging machinery specialist LoeschPack is preparing to make a much-anticipated debut at the supplier showcase for this year’s Sweets & Snacks Expo event in Indianapolis, US, reports Neill Barston.

The group, which has delivered an array of high-speed lines for the chocolate, wafers, cookies and bar markets, amid what the business described as a ‘surge in demand’ within the region for high quality machinery.

This year’s Sweets & Snacks Expo, taking place between May 14-16 is relocating to the Indiana Convention Centre in Indianapolis, after moving from its previous long-term home in Chicago, with its supplier showcase being held on the afternoons of 13 and 14 May.

According to a recent interview with Confectionery Production, organisers of the event, the National Confectioners Association, stated that the supplier element was a key related part of the show, which had seen notable growth since it was revived at the expo several years ago.

For its part, LoeschPack, which has its headquarters in Altendorf, Germany, believed the supplier showcase, which is now set to include more than 170 exhibitors, will offer a significant platform for the company’s ambitions in the region.

Christoph Krombholz, marketing manager for the group, welcomed the prospects for the 2024 show. He said: “We are full of anticipation and excitement as we participate for the first time in the renowned Sweets and Snacks Expo, taking place in Indianapolis in 2024. This event provides us with the perfect platform to showcase our innovations, machinery, and services and to establish close connections with our international customers and contacts. We are particularly looking forward to gaining a deeper insight into the North American confectionery market, which is currently experiencing a significant upsurge.
