Cocoa Association of Asia confirms latest sector event

The Cocoa Association of Asia (CAA) International Cocoa Conference has been confirmed once again to be taking place in Singapore this autumn, gathering hundreds industry leaders across the cocoa and chocolate sector.

It has been confirmed between 12-13 September 2024 at the Raffles City Convention Centre, with more than 600 attendees expected for the two-day show, which includes a gala dinner and themed under a banner of ‘A Confluence of Positive Change.”

As its organisers stated, the event aims to spark key dialogue and foster collaboration towards a sustainable and prosperous future for the cocoa and chocolate sector, which have both experienced notable global pressures amid price inflation and wider geopolitical issues.

Elie Fouché, Chairman of the Cocoa Association of Asia shares, “Our industry is facing tremendous challenges, with record high cocoa prices, disruption in bean supply and transformational regulations coming into application. In these unprecedented times, it is more crucial than ever to come together and collaborate. As we convene once again at the CAA International Cocoa Conference with the theme, ‘A Confluence of Positive Change,’ there’s a strong need for collective action in overcoming challenges and shaping the future of Asia’s cocoa industry.” Scheduled once every two years, this event is Asia’s foremost platform for discussing the latest trends and developments in the cocoa and chocolate industry.

As the CAA added, there will be three core plenary sessions, exclusive Masterclasses, an exhibition, and the inaugural Farmers’ Network Forum – a first-of-its-kind forum where farmers from around the globe come together and discuss the impact of global policies and uplifting sustainable cocoa farming methods. Since its inception in 2017, the CAA International Cocoa Conference has evolved into a pivotal forum for open discussion and networking within the cocoa and chocolate industry. The 2022 edition proudly hosted over 500 delegates from 40 countries, featuring renowned speakers and panelists. For additional details visit caacocoaconference.org
