Läderach sets the tone for Valentine’s day with special edition launches
Swiss premium confectionery brand, Läderach has unveiled a wide array of special edition chocolate treats celebrating this year’s key Valentine’s season, reports Neill Barston.
From heart-shaped gift boxes featuring red ribbons and FrischSchoggi (fresh chocolate) hearts in six flavours to pink teddies made from creamy white chocolate and brand new dark chocolate sticks boxes to add to its existing ranges.
The company’s chocolates are now available at 140 stores across 15 countries, including the US and UK, where the company arrived in 2019, including a major store on Regent Street, boutique on Chelsea’s Kings Road, an atelier in Covent Garden, as well as outlets at Westfield Shepherd’s Bush and an outlet in Harrods’ Chocolate Hall.
As the business explained to Confectionery Production, its flagship hand crafted lines have offered a distinctive unique selling point, and are best enjoyed within a few weeks of being purchased, with consumers consistently revealing in industry studies that despite cost-of-living constraints, they are willing to pay extra for occasional indulgent treats.
For this Valentine’s Läderach’s popular FrischSchoggi sticks are offered in this heart shaped Valentine’s box and are now also available in exclusively dark chocolate as a vegan-friendly option. They are available in Mini (95g) or Max (420g). £15 or £45 – buy in-store.
In addition, the company is offering its latest series of pralines, in either batches of 3, 15 or 30, at £8.90, boxes of 15 – £26.50, boxes of 30 – £59 respectively.
Furthermore, itsFrischSchoggi hearts are available in a range of sizes and flavours, from hazelnut milk and hazelnut dark favourites and larger I Love You heart, each made with fresh milk chocolate, featuring roasted and caramelised Piedmont hazelnuts.
For extra Valentine’s exclusives, the business has unveiled a Cherry-Raspberry Heart, Strawberry Curd Heart, Raspberry White Heart and Caramel Dark Almond Heart (made with dark chocolate, caramel and caramelised almond pieces).
Läderach also has a range of Valentine’s Day packaging, including gift bags which are free with every purchase in-store and online, to the complimentary heart-themed packaging around whole FrischSchoggi slabs. In-store shoppers can also create a bespoke Valentine’s Day box for their loved ones, with in-store personal shoppers on hand to offer advice on selections.
