Mars Wrigley UK appoints Matt Boulter as regional sales director

Mars Wrigley UK has moved to appoint Matt Boulter as its sales director for the region, as the business continues to expand its product portfolio at a time of comparative growth for the company, writes Neill Barston.

His career with the business has included 17 years across its operations, including posts across manufacturing, commercial, marketing, category and sales and most recently as UK Market Strategy and Operations Planning Director.

In his new role as Sales Director, Matt (pictured) will report to Adam Grant, General Manager, Mars Wrigley UK, with his predecessor Nick Reade now taking on a position as general manager of Mars Food UK, having joined the business in 2019.

According to the company, under his leadership, the company transformed its supplier relationship management and customer engagement capability. In his new role as Mars Food UK General Manager, he will report directly to Dave Dusangh, General Manager, Mars Food Europe.

Adam Grant, General Manager, Mars Wrigley UK said: ‘With the length and breadth of experience Matt has in our business, he is the right person to take the helm of our Sales function. Matt has played a key role in defining our strategic choices across the business for almost two-decades and he brings a brilliant international perspective and passion for building teams united behind a clear purpose.’

This appointment comes at an exciting time for Mars Wrigley and its brands, with Galaxy recently committing to help one million people including women, their families and their communities thrive by 2030 and M&M’S challenging stereotypes in film and boosting inclusivity through its ‘Films You Want To See’ platform. This summer will also see new product development within the Extra Refreshers gum portfolio and Skittles range.
