British confectionery group Chococo, which has a strong focus on ethical sourcing, has offered something out of the ordinary for Easter with Dorset dinosaurs inside a marble egg, writes Neill Barston.

The handcrafted line, one of a series of special Spring, features 100% plastic-free packaging, and is available alongside other options including honeycomb filled options that have targeted the key seasonal occasion.

As the company explained, its dino limited edition was developed as a tribute to the company’s home on the Jurassic Coast, with the bestseller being brought back as perfect treat for little and big paleontologists alike.

It was voted the Best Easter Egg for Kids by Good Housekeeping 2023, and features Signature 47% Colombia milk chocolate. The limited edition egg has been hand-crafted in its Dorset chocolate kitchen to look just like a dinosaur egg, and studded with chocolate dinosaur and fossil shapes.

As the company noted, its special Jurassic confectionery line is just one of many options on display at its its UK stores, and invited customers to gain a closer up at its creative Easter delights marking the big occasion this weekend.

The company, has a key network of stores in Swanage, Winchester and Horsham, with its range also available online via www.chococo.co.uk
