Confectionery wholesalers Hancocks remains open amid pandemic lockdown

UK confectionery wholesaling group Hancocks has moved to reassure customers and suppliers that the business is continuing to operate despite the newly enforced month-long second lockdown that began in England today.

As the business confirmed, its network of stores across the country, and its online operations are functioning, remaining open to support essential stores across the country.

The company said that its three-week sweet deals will remain available online and in its stores, with new deliveries of fresh stock to ensure availability of core product range.

In a statement, the company said: “We are continuing to keep our colleagues and customers safe, following latest Government Advice including mandatory face coverings, maintaining social distance, regularly sanitising high touch areas and Perspex barriers in place at all till points in-store.

“Being part of the IB Group, Hancocks, along with our World of Sweets national account distribution, Bonds Confectionery and Bobby’s van sales operation are all continuing to operate. With each business having adapted their service during these unprecedented times to continue to service our customers and work in partnership to help feed the nation with some much-needed snacks and sweet treats.”
