Forty-one of the world’s best chocolate artisans have gathered in Paris for the World Chocolate Masters. No less than 19 countries worldwide are participating in this competition, which is considered one of the most beautiful chocolate competition in the world.

Each country has preselected one participant. After months of preparation, the participants have now come to Paris to show their talents to the world. For three days, they will be making chocolate artworks, pralines, pastry, desserts and an exclusive, chocolate decorated hat in the aim to become the World Chocolate Master 2009.

The professional jury will evaluate their creations. All countries have one representative in the jury. Jean-Philippe Darcis from Belgium and Jacques Bellanger from France are the jury presidents. Yves ThuriÔ
