Catering supplies company

A new catering supplies company called Cooksmill is set to get operations underway in Salford, UK, over the next three months. The first ten new team members will be recruited over the next few weeks for a variety of roles in both the office and wholesale warehouse and will cover a range of areas and call for various types of experience such as manual picking and packing duties, customer service advisors in the wholesale warehouse, as well as managerial and operational opportunities.

A Cooksmill representative says, “Building a workforce made up of local people is of high priority for us. We aim to be a major player in the UK catering supply industry and a company for Salfordians to be proud of. What better way to do that than by giving job opportunities to local residents?”

In addition to permanent full and part-time employment, Cooksmill is offering apprenticeships and NVQ training. NVQs will be offered in hospitality, food service, retail and health and safety.
