Lareka introduces two-stage chocolate packaging
Netherland-based Lareka Confectionary Equipment has introduces a new machine for packing premium chocolate tablets in two stages at ProSweets 2009. It initially packs the tablet in film (flowpack) and secondly in a pre-glued box.
Compared with existing machines the Lareka TP75 ds differs because of its gentle product handling and flexibility. It is possible to pack six mm thick tablets with whole hazelnuts as well as irregular shapes.
Because of the reasonable investment level of around 33% of the traditional double stage tablet packers, chocolate packed in carton now comes within reach of small/middle range chocolate manufacturers.
