Looking forward to a successful and memorable 2022

Being just a few days into January, here’s wishing you all the best possible start to 2022, and may it prove a memorable, interesting and successful year for you all.

With global conditions still impacted notably with regards to the ongoing pandemic, it’s hard to make any particular forecasts too far in advance, such is the pace at which events are moving amid shifting conditions.

But one thing is for certain, there seems a genuine sense of optimism from many within the industry I’ve spoken to over the past few weeks, so long may that continue in terms of addressing some of the notable challenges that lie ahead.

With many in the the sector not having had the chance to meet up for much of the past two years, trade fairs and special event on the horizon over the next 12 months are likely to prove particularly critical, so watch this space for key coverage and insights for upcoming shows.

As far as our title is concerned, I’d urge you all to please keep your contact going with as many news items, feature suggestions and any comments you may have relating to our ever-evolving confectionery, snacks and bakery industries around the world.
