Tangerine launches soft eating liquorice

Tangerine Confectionery, the UK’s largest independent manufacturer of sugar confectionery, has launched a new brand of soft eating liquorice.

Henry Goode’s Soft Eating Liquorice is the only British variety of soft eating liquorice, a variety of the black confectionery that differs from traditional liquorice due to its soft bite and milder taste and texture.

Made from all natural ingredients, Henry Goode’s Soft Eating Liquorice is Halal approved and contains less than 2% fat.

Helen Sears, group marketing manager at Tangerine Confectionery, says, “Until now the soft eating liquorice available has originated from New Zealand, Australia and the US so we are proud to be launching the first British variety which we hope the trade will get behind.”
