3 April 2012 – Allen Coding Systems has launched a range of Nano laser coders. The F fibre laser coder and the D YAG laser coder are both compact, versatile units designed for industrial coding applications on a wide range of hard-to-mark materials.

The Nano F brings fibre technology to many manufacturers who would previously have found the cost of this type of laser coder prohibitive. This revolution in laser technology has the ability to print on a wide variety of substrates from films and foils to metals and plastics, and is ideally suited to marking confectionery films.

Programmable via a PC, hand held terminal or external touchscreen, it is easy to integrate into existing production processes and simple to install and set up. Plus, there is no need for consumables.

The more compact Nano D offers all the features of the F model within a much smaller footprint, which is fully self-contained in one cabinet.
