Netherlands-headquartered GNT colouring foods group has made a strategic investment in forging a new application laboratory in Dubai to support its Exberry applications in the region, writes Neill Barston.
The group has made the investment in response to growing demand across the Middle East, North Africa and Indian subcontinent, which has been witnessed increasingly at events held in the region, including Gulfood Manufacturing, at which the business has continued to have a presence.
As the company explained, its new facility will be situated alongside its commercial and marketing teams in the UAE, it marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to delivering localised technical assistance and faster turnaround.
Moreover, as the firm noted, the facility features state-of-the-art instrumentation and local formulation expertise, with services including colour matching and stability testing. The laboratory also serves as a hub for product demonstrations, training programs, and technical consultations.

The business, which also has multiple application centers in Europe, Asia, and North America – creates its colour system from non-GMO fruit, vegetables, and plants, with broad use for the confectionery and snacks sector.They are available in a complete spectrum of shades and can be used to replace synthetic dyes in almost any type of food and drink.
