ofi confirms core showcase for FiE, including confectionery offerings

Global ingredients group ofi has confirmed its presence at this year’s Food Ingredients Europe event (Fie) in Paris next month, showcasing applications across the sector, writes Neill Barston.
The business, which is under parent group Olam, has continued to deliver a range of solutions for the confectionery and snacks sectors, with its cocoa operations of considerable significance – though it will be its general food and drink portfolio that will be represented in France next month.
As the company noted, consumers now are seeking more than just distinctive flavours – they want food and beverage options that are natural, nutritious, sustainable, and unforgettable.

The company is participating at the key annual event, which this year is in Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, between 2-4 December, and can be found at Hall 4, booth C120, where it will be one of more than 1,550 exhibitors from 135 countries, with confectionery featuring notably in the overall mix of the sector showcase.
