Environmental focus for Fudge Kitchen sees notable wildlife initiative take shape

British-based confectionery firm Fudge Kitchen has unveiled an eco-friendly venture with Creating Nature’s Corridors, a Cambridgeshire-based initiative founded by Vhari Russell.
The charity, which has planted over 40,050 trees and hedgerows across the UK to date, is dedicated to creating green spaces that restore biodiversity, connect wildlife habitats, and combat the effects of climate change.
By working with landowners, local communities, and volunteers, Creating Nature’s Corridors transforms neglected or underutilised land into thriving ecosystems and therapeutic havens where residents can enjoy the benefits of access to the natural world.
Fudge Kitchen’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability has long been a key pillar of its mission. Through its work with B1G1 and Rewilding Britain, the company has contributed to numerous rewilding projects across the UK and beyond. This new partnership with Creating Nature’s Corridors marks the next chapter in its efforts to protect and sustain the environment for future generations.
“We’re thrilled to be working with such an impactful cause,” said Richard Parson, Managing Director of Fudge Kitchen, who personally took part in two of the charity’s planting events this past year.
“Planting hedgerows at Macknade in Faversham—a long-time Fudge Kitchen stockist and community favourite—was a humbling and inspiring experience. It’s incredible to see how a small act like planting a tree can have such a lasting positive impact on our environment and local biodiversity.”
By partnering with Creating Nature’s Corridors, Fudge Kitchen aims to help amplify the charity’s work and encourage others to invest in rewilding efforts. Supporting projects like these not only helps offset environmental challenges but also strengthens local communities by fostering collaboration and a shared sense of stewardship over the natural world
“We are delighted to be working with Fudge Kitchen, it’s a delicious way in which to help the environment as well as improve the local landscape, and we look forward to working with the regional teams on various projects we have planned for the next planting season,” said Vhari Russell Founder of Creating Natures Corridors.
Fudge Kitchen’s first in-store fundraiser for Creating Nature’s Corridors kicks off on June 5th 2025 to mark World Environment Day. A limited-edition Millionaire Shortbread Fudge will be available to purchase by the slice, with proceeds going to help support the charity’s mission.
