The doors of Haribo’s latest retail store in the UK, at the Bluewater shopping centre in Kent opened this week, with a special opening offer for visitors, writes Neill Barston.
As part of a welcoming gift, the company’s new store team offered a good bag for the first 50 customers to enter the location and experience its latest series of sweet offerings.
Its 11th UK retail store will bring the brand’s much-loved sense of childlike happiness to one of the UK’s biggest shopping and leisure destinations located outside London.
From familiar favourites, exclusive merchandise and a feature pick’ n’ mix station, Haribo-lovers will be able to indulge in a selfie in a colourful, dedicated area of the new store.
Rebecca Fox, Head of Retail at Haribo UK, shared: “We can’t wait to welcome smiling shoppers to our newest retail store next week. Bluewater is already special for us after we hosted the UK’s largest ball pit at the shopping centre in 2023. Now that we have a permanent presence, we look forward to creating moments of happiness for our customers all-year round.”
James Waugh, Centre Director at Bluewater, added: “The initial announcement around the arrival of HARIBO at Bluewater was met with huge excitement, so we are delighted to confirm that it will be opening this month.
“The store is going to be a visual treat so there will be some fantastic photo opportunities, alongside a pick’n’mix centrepiece and a range of HARIBO favourites. We’re sure it will be a fantastic addition to our brand line up
