Fatherson bakery offers thanks to UK NHS services with new range

UK-based Fatherson Bakery goods business has offered thanks to NHS services with 10p from each pack of its new, freshly made Butterfly Vanilla Cakes going towards helping the work of medical teams.

The new range, which is launched this week, are being released in a pack of six mini sponge cakes topped generously with a vanilla flavoured filling. The latest series is topped with white icing and an edible Union Jack flag in praise of British hospital heroes.

Laurence Smith, MD of Fatherson Bakery, said; “As British bakers, we wanted to give something back to our national heroes who are saving lives day in, day out. This is just a little way of all of us at Fatherson Bakery – our artisan bakers, our warehouse & delivery team, our administrative teams and senior staff – to say thank you for doing such a courageous job. So, let’s celebrate the NHS and all keyworkers together.”

The Butterfly Vanilla Cupcakes priced at £2.50 and will be available at Co-op, Budgens, Nisa, Londis, Spar, and hundreds of independent convenience stores, farm shops and deli’s as well as Fatherson Bakery’s newly launched www.directdeliver.co.uk, which the business added has been created as a means of assisting customers during the coronavirus outbreak and beyond.
