The confectionery side of Swedish company Cloetta Fazer is due to trade by the name Fazer Konfektyr Service by the end of the year following its split from Cloetta. The de-merger was announced in June 2008.

¦berg would continue as managing director and CEO of the company after the name change. Curt Petri will leave his post as deputy managing director and CFO and the new CFO will be Krister Friberg, who is also CFO of the Fazer Group and a newly elected member of the Board.
