Spain’s Torrons Vicens collaborates with chief Albert Adrià for latest nougats

Spanish-based confectionery business Torrons Vicens has celebrated a major launch of three nougats, which have been developed with the support of renowned chef Albert Adrià, writes Neill Barston.

The company’s latest line was among many highlights of the recent ISM event earlier this month in Cologne, Germany, which attracted well over 1,000 exhibitors from around the world.

For its part, Torrons Vicens, which is regarded as a key international specialist in its field, it reported strong interest in its latest offerings which have been added to its existing product portfolio.

The company has evolved a rich heritage, which dates back to 1775, with the business involved in a number of specialist novelty ranges, which include Dubai Chocolate series, crumbly shortbread, as well as cookies, that make-up its overall offering. 

As the company explained to Confectionery Production, its new three-strong line of nougats unveiled in Germany recently, offer an extremely light, airy, and delicate texture, designed to appeal to a broad base of customers.

Furthermore, as it noted, it has remained firmly committed to culinary innovation and creativity, while continuing to respect tradition, craftsmanship, and high-quality raw materials.

Moreover, as the business explained, the ISM show enabled it to engage with key international markets, reflecting its aspiration to drive further growth for the series, which is already exported to a total of over 80 countries.
