Nestle ramps-up Easter celebrations with four new eggs

A raft of fresh innovations from Nestle has been hatched, as it unveils a range of four new eggs celebrating Easter in creative style, writes Neill Barston.

Notably, as previously reported, the season remains one of the biggest on the confectionery calendar, delivering global sales that have made it one of the most in-demand for the gift giving market.  

As the company noted, KitKat fans are spoilt this year with four new eggs to crack into. Whether you’re craving the iconic crisp wafer, a standout marbled shell, or indulgent flavour, there’s a brand-new way to have a break this year.

A duo of the KitKat Incredible Eggs deliver a striking swirled design, with Hazelnut and Salted Caramel variants carrying flavour right through the chocolate shell. 

For those who love texture, the KitKat Chunky Funky Incredible Egg goes all-in with choc-biscuit pieces and crispy cornflakes.

KitKat Bunny lovers aren’t left out either, the KitKat Crispy Egg brings extra crunch with crispy pieces hidden in the shell. Not to forget the Aero Brownie Egg, featuring delicious Aero chocolate with a rich brownie flavouring.

For white chocolate fans, the Milkybar Crispy Cookie Egg blends crunchy pieces into a creamy, cookie-flavoured shell. The Milkybar Easter Friends sharing bag brings even more fun to the mix, with a playful mix of Easter-shaped pieces, from bunnies to butterflies and flowers.

Furthermore,  the Rowntree’s Egg-Venture sharing bag features colourful limited-edition random fruity shapes such as mermaids, avocados, carrot, a butterfly and a dinosaur.

Another fan favourites will return in the form including Smarties Sea Splash and Smarties Dinosaur Eggs, The Quality Street Incredible Egg, as well as KitKat Bunnies and KitKat Mini Eggs.

Classic eggs from beloved brands, including KitKat, Aero, Rowntree’s, Lion, Toffee Crisp, Smarties, Munchies, Rolo, Yorkie and Milkybar, will also be back on shelves. Nestlé Confectionery chocolate is made using 100% certified Rain Forest Alliance cocoa.
