Univar to distribute stevia for Wild Flavors

22 November 2010 – Wild Flavors and Univar have agreed to work together to market and distribute a range of Sunwin stevia products, Wild taste modification technologies and other sweetening blends in Europe and the Middle East.

Univar will market and sell Sunwin Stevia Reb A extracts and Wild’s taste modification systems initially within the approved French and Swiss markets and then, throughout Europe as authorisations are granted.

Fabiana Matucci, VP, SBU Management, Rudolf Wild & Co, says, “Market interest surrounding the use of stevia in products within Europe indicates that we have come to the market at the right time.”

Sunwin Stevia Reb A extracts are calorie-free, natural, high-intensity sweeteners extracted from the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant.
