20 September 2010 – Austrian confectionery producer Ed. Haas has opened a €3.5 million plant in Janossomorja, northwest Hungary, to produce its PEZ confectionery.

The new plant will produce 2,000 tons of PEZ per year and will employ about 100 people, it was reported.
