Cargill’s food ingredient business in the Middle East, Turkey and North Africa (METNA) has opened a new regional headquarters in Istanbul in order to accommodate a growing sales and technical team and deliver dedicated and tailored customer service for the region.

The new office, one of five in the METNA region, not only demonstrates the company’s commitment to growing its food ingredients business, but brings its sales and technical teams closer to its customers combining Cargill’s global knowledge with local insights and expertise.

While Cargill has been established in Istanbul for over 55 years, this expanded office and improved facilities will include a Cargill workshop kitchen where customers will be able to attend bespoke ingredient and application workshops.

Speaking at the official opening, Mr Nedim El Cheik, commercial and market development director, says: “Our new Istanbul office will deliver tangible benefits to our customers. We will be easier to reach and better able to serve regional demand. We understand this market and we strive to offer appropriate and high quality products. There is no better way of meeting our customer demands than with an improved regional sales set up and expanded technical services operation.”

Cargill’s office is located at Palladium Tower in Atasehir, Istanbul. Cargill’s other regional offices in the region are Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Cairo, Egypt; Casablanca, Morocco and Algiers, Algeria.
