Non stick gum created by Revolymer
12 July 2011 – Scientists from Bristol University have developed a new non stick chewing gum. After years of testing and development, REV7 has finally been created and is made by the UK based polymer company Revolymer. Unlike normal gum, this gum allows moisture to go into it and creates Amphiphilic properties that make it easy to removable from surfaces. It has been tested on paved sidewalks, carpets, textiles, transport fabrics and clothes but is not limited to only these surfaces. Not only is it easy to clean, it is also environmentally friendly as a lot of the harmful processes used in cleaning gum do not have to be used.
