UK confectionery business Stockley’s completes move to new Lancashire HQ

British confectionery business Stockley’s has successfully expanded to a new location in Burnley, Lancashire, amid further growth plans for the company, reports Neill Barston.
The business, which had formerly been based in Blackburn, had required expanded premises in order to ramp-up production levels as part of its long-term manufacturing plans.

As MD Mark Adcock has noted, the company has delivered double-digit growth in recent times, and while keen to expand, it did not wish to part ways with its Lancashire roots.
Although change can be daunting, this latest step-change move only meant moving a modest 10 miles down the road from Blackburn to Burnley meaning that Stockley’s was able to retain its highly talented team as part of the custom-made facility move to ensure they remained at very epicentre of Stockley’s bold growth plans.
Long established as a leading supplier of both branded and private label confectionery, this latest chapter in Stockley’s 107 year history was meticulously planned, on the one hand to support the business’s ambitious growth commitments within a BRC AA accredited facility, whilst at the same time staying true to time-honoured confectionery traditions and handcrafted production methods that are central to Stockley’s distinct reputation.
For all this change it’s only right to underline that Stockley’s remains committed to the ever-growing numbers of confectionery enthusiasts seeking out a far-reaching collection of quality treats that reconnect them to happy, yesteryear memories.
As such, Stockley’s remains a proud custodian of quality fayre, classic sweet shop favourites and compelling flavour twists that hark back to simpler times.
