Seasonal US festivities continue with annual Peepsfest

Colourful seasonal confectionery celebrations in the US will be returning to Bethlehem, PA, for the much-anticipated annual Peepsfest.

The occasion on December 30 and 31st features a centrepiece of a 400lb Peeps Chick Drop, along with live music and entertainment, ice skating, a fun run and more.

This year, Just Born Quality Confections, maker of Peeps Marshmallow Candies will also give event attendees an exclusive first look at one of the new flavours from the company’s Marshmallow line-up that are set to hit shelves early in 2025.

The brand has maintained its well-respected position within the North American market as a key independent confectionery producer that has remained notably active across the region with its distinctive series of candies.

The activities for this year’s Peepsfest on December 30 include a Friendship Bracelet Creation Station, a demo at Peeps in the kitchen with PBS39, character meet and greets, live music and entertainment, ice skating, a wildlife presentations.

For its New Year’s Eve events, the show includes its  famous Peeps Chick Drop followed by fireworks that will round off the annual extravaganza.
