Tracey Hughes, managing director of Henley Bridge, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled that Chocolat Madagascar has listened to our customers and launched this new easy-melt format. We’ve had countless requests from artisans who love the range but have been apprehensive due to the extra work that comes with blocks.
“Demand for high-end single origin chocolate is definitely increasing as discerning consumers seek out unique flavour profiles with sustainable credentials, and, as the UK’s largest independent chocolate supplier, we’re very happy to be able to satisfy this need.”

Day of excellence
The release of its latest series follows swiftly on the heels of its recent UK customer day event, held at Twickenham Stadium, which was hailed as a key success for the business, attended by over 200 visitors, eager to sample its full series of innovations.
As the company noted, there were 26 exhibitors in attendance, including partners Machinery World, Carpigiani, Stroodles, Eco Tableware and Ecobaker, plus new suppliers Prova Gourmet and Bling.
In addition, there were competitions, prize giveaways and an exclusive order discount code for attendees, as well as demonstrations by five leading chefs: Talia Profet from deZaan; Matthew Bratt, Belcolade; Graham Mairs, Boiron; Lars Vierhot, IRCA; and Henley Bridge development chef Samantha Rain.
Tracey Hughes, managing director of Henley Bridge, said: “We’ve held several Days of Excellence now and I have to say this was our best one yet. The venue was fantastic and provided the perfect amount of space to exhibit everything we have to offer.
“As one of the UK’s leading ingredients suppliers, we are constantly adding to our brand portfolio and it’s therefore vital to be able to showcase not only our extensive product range but also the additional services and support we can offer to our customers.”
