Last chance for World Confectionery Conference Early bird attendee rates

This week offers the last chance to take advantage of our World Confectionery Conference early bird attendance rates, for our must-see event of the year that is kicking-off in just over eight weeks’ time.

We’ve assembled an especially strong line-up for the show on 5 October in Harrogate, Yorkshire, UK (main image), which includes the likes of Ferrero, Nestle, Cargill, as well as a wide range of small and medium-sized enterprises right across the finished product, ingredients, and equipment spectrum.

So, to claim at £30 entrance fee reduction to the event, making entrance £160, contact our sales manager Chris Meer at [email protected] by 5 August, to ensure your special offer rate, quoting Early Bird 23.

Among highlights at this year’s show will be a QandA session featuring special appearances from Cama packaging, Plamil Foods and Luker Chocolate, discussing key sustainability issues that are continuing to impact on the industry around the world. As Confectionery Production has reported widely in recent years, the need for collective action has been well noted across the industry, but clear action plans to achieve a living income for farmers have yet to be fully realised.

Other names to grace this year’s event include Ghana Cocoa Board, sustainability organisation Farmforce, GNT, Baker Perkins equipment and Fairtrade, which will take on the theme of sustainable sourcing. In addition, we also have an optional activity day on 6 October, in neighbouring York, which will be led by Sophie Jewett, MD of York Cocoa House, who will also be appearing as a keynote speaker on the 5 October. This event needs to be booked separately via the business (for more details visit https://www.yorkcocoahouse.co.uk/pages/world-confectionery-conference-2023

Editor Neill Barston commented: “We have been genuinely encouraged by the response so far to our event, which has continued to gain momentum in recent months as our plans have progress. But if you’ve not already done so, I’d urge you to make the most our Early Bird rates – which really do offer a great opportunity to be involved with our show, which also includes an early morning networking element, and a very dynamic range of speakers that are destined to ensure an engaging event all-round, including our additional activity day that offers the chance to learn some practical skills beyond the conference day, so we look forward to hearing from as many of you across the industry as possible.”
