Middle Eastern bakery firm DoFreeze will soon begin production operations at its new $49 million (€34.2m) manufacturing facility in Dubai.

According to DoFreeze, its production capacity will be tripled thanks to the new facility and a large range of new products will be developed and launched in several phases. “We have launched a new luxury range under the brand name Delice consisting of Luxury Swiss rolls and pound cakes,” the company comments.

Established in 1999, DoFreeze produces long shelf-life branded cakes and a wide range of frozen dough products, including pre-proved butter croissants and sweet puff pastries. Currently, DoFreeze runs five production lines producing more than 50,000 cakes per hour, and a frozen dough production line with the capacity to produce 20,000 croissants per hour.
