World Confectionery Awards entries gather momentum

For our conference last year in Brussels, the World Confectionery Awards crowned the event in extremely fitting style, so they offer a fantastic opportunity as they return for our UK event this October.

We’re looking to build upon that initial success, so we would warmly welcome further submissions across our categories for our 2023 showcase being staged in Harrogate, which will celebrate the entire value chain of our industries.

This year’s categories remain consistent with 2022’s format, featuring five accolades, including an honour for sustainability achievements across all areas of the industry, best equipment development, top finished product, team of the year, and ingredients solution of the year for good measure.

These honours – which are entirely free to enter, are being operated for the benefit of the industry, and were instituted at a time of notable challenges across the sector, so the chance to celebrate has been welcomed by those who participated last year, and I am sure the same will be the case again for 2023.

So please don’t delay in getting those entries off to us by our extended final deadline of September 7, with entries received earlier than this being exceptionally welcome indeed. The forms for it are available via our website at www.confectioneryconference.com and should be returned to myself, at [email protected] or my colleague Chris Meer at [email protected] as soon as possible.

Thanks to those who have already made their entries, and we look forward to hearing from as many of you from across the industry as possible to help ensure that this year’s World Confectionery Conference on 5 October at the Harrogate Convention Centre, Yorkshire, UK, is one that proves an extremely memorable day indeed.
