Wishing you all a very happy and enjoyable Christmas time

This week’s column will be extremely short, but hopefully fairly sweet in offering everyone working within the confectionery, snacks and bakery markets a very happy Christmas indeed, and thanks for all your engagement and support throughout this year.
It’s certainly been a hugely dynamic and varied one for the sector, as we’ve discovered on the road at a number of shows, from ISM and ProSweets, Sweets & Snacks Expo, Gulfood Manufacturing and ISM Middle East, through to Choco Tec event this month in Cologne, which revealed a broad range of insights from the sector.
Then of course, there’s been our very own World Confectionery Conference in Brussels, that attracted a dynamic audience from across the industry, and it’s particularly heartening to note that our plans for 2023 are fast taking shape. On that subject, as you’ll see from our video section that we have confirmed Ferrero’s Francesco Tramontin as a returning speaker at our show next year- which is destined to return to Brussels as a live event – on the overwhelming feedback from all those who attended.
So, make sure you catch the interview, in which Francesco discusses some of the industry’s key tests including supply chain challenges, but also looks forward to another interesting and engaging year full of plenty more adventures with the industry. Here’s wishing you all the very best for the Christmas season, and may 2023 be a fine one for us all.
