Summer confectionery market targeted with Neuhaus latest chocolate mousse series

Belgian confectionery group, Neuhaus, has unveiled its latest innovative summer offering in the form of a premium chocolate mousse, writes Neill Barston.
Renowned as the business behind the invention of the praline, the company has targeted the indulgence market with its fresh innovation that is aimed at the on-the-go product market.
Neuhaus, which has one of its flagship stores in Grand Place, close to the location of our World Confectionery Conference set to descend on Brussels in just three weeks time, has more than a century of chocolate, and wider confectionery making experience.
The business has cemented itself as a strong regional favourite, having maintained its manufacturing in the region, as well as operating a wide range of boutique stores across Europe and the US.
Its latest offering is presented in a refined cup and accompanied by a sustainable biscuit spoon that you can eat, Neuhaus Chocolate Mousse is available in two refined flavours: Milk Chocolate Mousse – Smooth and creamy with round, comforting notes of milk chocolate.
The second format is its dark, rich and intense variety, with deep cocoa notes and a soft, refined bitterness, described as a sophisticated experience for dark chocolate enthusiasts.
As the company explained, consumers can personalise these moments of indulgence, in choosing from a trio of exquisite toppings: Pieces of caramel d’Isigny for a buttery crunch, Raspberry flakes for a fruity contrast, Caramelised almonds for a nutty finesse.
Developed to balance heritage and innovation, Neuhaus Chocolate Mousse is also available in a larger format – ideal for festive occasions at home. It is retailing across selected Neuhas boutiques in Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
