Yamato weighers set to be among UK’s PPMA Total equipment and systems show

Yamato Scale Dataweigh UK is set to be among companies returning to the UK’s PPMA Total industry equipment show, showcasing its latest weighing and inspection lines, writes Neill Barston.

Registration for the packaging and processing focused event – which takes place between 27-29 September at the NEC in Birmingham UK, will see over 400 firms exhibiting, representing 2,500 brands across sectors, including confectionery, snacks and bakery markets.

As Yamato noted, with mounting challenges facing the manufacturing industry, including rising costs, skills shortages and supply chain disruption, the firm is committed to supporting new and existing customers.

Each of its solutions on display at the event offers high performance, easy use, and cost-efficiency.

The team will be presenting a special selection of its key weighing solutions including the automated Epsilon and Omega multihead weighers, which have a strong focus on speed and accuracy,  as well as the semi-automatic TSD-N3, which offers delicate handling with reduced labour requirement. A static scale will be on display for those looking for an accurate end-of-line weigher.

There will also be a focus on product inspection at the stand, with an I-Series checkweigher, metal detector-checkweigher combi and the innovative YX20 x-ray system available for attendees to view.

Valerie le Gallez, Commercial Manager for Yamato Scale Dataweigh UK, said: “We are so pleased to be back at PPMA this year. We know the last 12 months have been challenging for many plants, but we will showcase how Yamato’s solutions ease those challenges.

The event gives attendees the perfect opportunity to see our equipment in action and speak to our dedicated experts to find out how they boost results, reduce costs and address a wide variety of requirements. We’ll also be expounding on the outstanding service, and support Yamato provides to all of its customers.” Yamato Scale Dataweigh UK at stand B50 from 27-29th September.
