Kerry ingredients confirms speaker for this year’s World Confectionery Conference

The Kerry Group has confirmed Alice Nongonierma, a senior protein scientist with the business, will be representing the global company at our World Confectionery Conference event this September, reports Neill Barston.
As the Irish-headquartered firm noted, she has been working on the development of Nutritional Plant and Dairy Proteins for the past four years – which are among a core area of focus for its operations.
She holds an Engineering Degree in Food Science & Technology, MSc in Food Science and a PhD in Food Science (ENSBANA, Dijon, France). Previous to joining Kerry, she worked for 11 years on different research initiatives in Ireland on the acceleration of cheese ripening and the generation of protein-derived bioactive peptides. Alice has published over 70 peer-reviewed publications.
During the World Confectionery Conference, Alice (below) will share her knowledge on plant protein hydrolysates and their excellent properties for vegan/vegetarian aerated sugar confectionery formulation.
