UK popcorn brand in new ad campaign

The UK popcorn brand Butterkist has returned to tv screens after ten years with a new national advertising campaign.

The advert, which is based around the strapline I can’t resist Butterkist’, currently runs across major national channels. Maria Townsend, Butterkist senior brand manager at Tangerine Confectionery, says, “On the back of 27% growth last year, the campaign will further strengthen Butterkist’s position.”

With over 50 per cent share of the UK popcorn market and a household name for over 20 years, Butterkist is the only popcorn brand to ever run a significant national advertising campaign.
