Preparations for Interpack continue despite emergence of coronavirus

With magazine deadlines looming, this will be a short message from myself this week, but it’s on a very significant issue.

Just a few days ago, Interpack put out a statement that all plans remain in place for it to be staged this May, despite the outbreak of the coronavirus affecting a number of trade shows across the food and drink sector in the coming months.

We will share that optimism and hope regarding the event going ahead, with the organisers of the trade fair moving to assure that additional measures will be put in place in terms of medical facilities for those who may be concerned by the situation.

So with that in mind, we’re busy planning our next edition and would welcome support from manufacturers planning to exhibit at the event. Please do send us your trade fair preview news, as our major event focuses can only ever be as good as the engagement we receive. We will be glad to hear your latest systems, technology and equipment, as well as news and insights surrounding the event, which we anticipate should be something special.

Certainly, 2017’s edition of Interpack was memorable for the wealth of technology and innovation on display, which we firmly anticipate will be just the same this time around, so we shall sincerely hope for everyone’s sake that it all does happen as scheduled, with so much anticipation having already built around the event.
