The World Confectionery Conference set for the Grand Place in Brussels

Having officially launched next year’s World Confectionery Conference, we are proud to reveal the venue for our title’s debut international event.

Save the date of Friday, 11 September 2020 in your diaries for our key sector forum, which will be held at the Brussels Marriott Hotel Grand Place.

Selecting a location in the heart of Europe’s confectionery making landscape seemed like a perfect choice, with our parent company Bell Publishing marking its milestone 20th anniversary this year.

Our global industry gathering will address a wealth of challenges and industry developments affecting international sweets, snacks and bakery markets.

The one-day event will also include a table-top exhibition complementing its main itinerary. This includes a full day programme of speakers delivering insights and informed debate across the finished product, ingredients, and equipment subject areas.

With so much happening in the world of confectionery over the past few years, the potential for subject areas is particularly inspiring, so we will be keeping you regularly updated on our preparations.

We are aiming to ensure will offer a topical, engaging and entertaining series of insights into our sector. There will be further elements to the event that we are set to reveal shortly.

But for now, just a small reminder that input from our readership is of course extremely welcome, so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any specific subject areas that you would like us to consider featuring.

The success of the event will depend on the support of our readership, so we shall look forward to hearing from you in the coming weeks and months ahead.
