The season of major international trade shows begins

With autumn around the corner for us here in the northern hemisphere, the season heralds a particularly busy period for our events calendar.

Across our group, we’ll collectively be attending a number of trade fairs including IBIE bakery show which has been taking place in the US over the past few days.

From there, the PPMA Total event for the machinery sector is on at the start of October in the UK highlighting packaging and technology systems developments, and Gulfood Manufacturing will continue that theme in Dubai at the end of next month.

Such showcases have become an integral part of being involved in trade media, and we value the chance to engage with some of our core audiences around the world.

Personally, I’ve found these opportunities are certainly a great way of digging around to find out what’s really happening out there in industry in a very direct and engaging manner.

So please do get in touch if you’re attending these, or any other shows over the next few months.

There are plenty of other notable dates for the diary on the horizon across confectionery and bakery markets including FIE in Paris, and ProSweets/ISM on the horizon, which will be keeping us more than occupied.

Show news is particularly welcome, so drop me a line directly if you have anything relevant to the confectionery or bakery sectors that in terms of either new equipment, ingredients, or industry solutions.
