Gulfood set to prove another major event packed full of surprises

This week’s confectionery missive will be brief, but hopefully noteworthy, with our latest November edition due to go to press shortly.

Having spent a good deal of time attending trade events this year including Anuga, ISM/ProSweets and most recently, iba in Munich, I’ve been left in no doubt of the considerable value in attending such industry showcases.

They not only serve as a significant means of manufacturers being able to engage with their core audience , they are extremely useful to us as journalists in terms of how we engage with our audience as a magazine.

To that end, I’m very much looking forward to our upcoming trip to Gulfood Manufacturing in Dubai. It’s set to feature a wide range of businesses present in the confectionery and bakery markets, so we’re expecting plenty of innovation to be in evidence once again during the three-day event.

We’ll be seeking out some of the most interesting news and views from the show, so please get in touch if you’re exhibiting or visiting and would like to meet during the event. With the impact of industry 4.0 technology solutions high on the agenda, along with other core equipment efficiency developments and sustainability issues, there will be plenty of matters to discuss for the event in just a few weeks’ time.
