Moisture proof lollipop wrapper

1st June 2011 – CFS Aquarius has launched the new tear slit for easier opening of its hermetically sealed OverlapSeal double twist wrappers. This wrapping format runs on the CFS Aquarius TwistWrapper, which has a double twist wrapping capacity of up to 1,000 ball lollipops per minute. The wrapper significantly extends the lollipop’s shelf life.

Unlike regular double twist wrappers for lollipops, which allow moisture to reach the sugar, the patented OverlapSeal double twist wrapper from CFS Aquarius is hermetically sealed.

Compared to a regular bunch wrapper, the double twist wrapper uses up to 30% less film. Wrapping options include heat sealable polypropylene, laminate and cellophane films and wax paper, all in single or double layers. The heating system with contactless transfer of energy seals around the stick with consistent sealing quality.
