Sacmi chocolate packaging systems set for largest-ever interpack presence

Italy’s Sacmi chocolate packaging systems business has revealed plans for its interpack appearance, which is set to be its largest booth ever for this year’s major event in Düsseldorf, Germany, writes Neill Barston.

Between 7-13 May, the business is set to showcase a series of new and enhanced lines for chocolate processing, as well as primary and secondary packaging solutions for food and non-food applications.

The business will be placing a spotlight on a wide range of equipment from its stand at  Hall 4 Booth E05-F05, Among its core offerings for 2026 is its new Flowfine, ball mill for stable and repeatable refining, which is anticipated to be a key piece of machinery for the sector.

The company’s Next Cavemil features a classic Carle&Montanari moulding line, including a robotised mould-change station, CORE X moulding depositor and Fast Shell.

Meanwhile, its OPM JTA+, horizontal flow-wrapper with automatic reel change feature included is being showcased alongside the OPM Advance TL, high-speed top Loading tri-functional cell with Rockwell Automation I-Track magnetic motors system.

In addition, the HTB, version 2.0 of what is believed to be the fastest bar wrapping machine on the market, features the new “Letter” wrapping style, as well as the ETC CB20: 3-in-1 RSC Top Loading case packer by ETPACK, company specialising in secondary packaging that has recently joined the SACMI group.

Furthermore, the HPS 40RT: medium-speed horizontal flow-wrapper with bottom reel and long dwell sealing head will also be on display, along with the 
VPS 40C: continuous vertical packaging machin line with Multibox case erector, PB20 bag inserter and HY7 chocolate wrapping machine.
