Australia’s Kingsway Confectionery gains key tna packaging line

Australia’s Kingsway Confectionery, a renowned family-owned company specialising in retail packaging products for more than 30 years, has reported enhancing its production capabilities by 50% after partnering with tna solutions for new equipment ranges, writes Neill Barston.

As the Seaford, Victoria-based, company, which has been in the industry since the mid 1980s noted, it acknowledged a requirement for upgrading its lines serving key locations around its home nation, and required machinery that would significantly boost its operations.

The firm consequently turned to tna to deliver a third vertical, form fill and seal packaging system into its manufacturing line, in offering a system that would provide targeted speed, flexibility and productivity gains for its packaging activities.

Raymond Wicks, General Manager of Kingsway Confectionery, believed the installation was having a key impact. He said “Adding a third robag machine increased our capacity by 50%. We went from 40 – 59 bpm to 80 – 100 bpm for bag sizes spanning anywhere from 30 to 400 grams.”
