Valeo Foods appoints Kevin Moore as snacking group UK CEO

British-based Valeo Foods Group has named Kevin Moore as UK CEO, which include the Valeo Snackfoods, Rowse and Matthew Walker business units, writes Neill Barston.

He will take up the post from 5 June, joining from  Greencore where he spent 25 years in various commercial and operational roles and most recently as Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer.

Moore will be responsible for driving the growth of Valeo Foods’ UK portfolio, strengthening the overall organisation and ensuring that it is the supplier of choice for customers. “I’m very excited to be joining Valeo Foods, and see huge opportunity to further developing an exciting UK business” said Kevin Moore.

“I am thrilled that Valeo Foods has been able to attract a talent of the calibre of Kevin, and look forward to supporting his exciting plans for the future of the business and organisation in the UK”, said incoming Group CEO Ronald Kers.

As Kevin is joining the business, Wayne Hudson who has been working closely with Valeo in the past few months to support the UK business, will hand over to Kevin and continue in an advisory capacity to Valeo Foods and Bain Capital going forward. “On behalf of the board of Valeo Foods, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the contributions that Wayne has made”, added Ronald.
