The ceremony for His Majesty and his wife, Queen Camilla, is fast approaching on Saturday, 6 May 2023, at Westminster Abbey.
King Charles III acceded to the throne on 8 September 2022, upon the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth.
Due to the Worldwide interest in the coronation and the uplift of the recently launched “God Save the King ” tin, the Sheffield-based business has launched additional tins to commemorate the special occasion, one being emblazoned with the official Coronation Logo/Emblem.
All Contain 175g Lightly dusted Simpkins All Natural & Gluten free Assorted Fruit drops, and are also Vegan.
As previously reported, the business launched its initial royal range to mark the major occasions earlier this year, and has extended its efforts in response to demand from consumers.
Over the decades, the company, which has pioneered travel sweet tins, has produced a broad range of commemorative sweets, ranging from royal anniversaries for the Queen, the climbing of mount Everest, through to celebrations of the Royal Air Force to name a few.
During Confectionery Production’s previous visit site visit feature, the business revealed that it has remained true to its classic recipes that have been handed down through the family, and while competitors have followed in the company’s wake, it has remained true to its manufacturing roots.
This has seen many of its staff remain with the business on a long-term basis, as it continues to grow its volumes, through its own brands, private label opportunities, as well as a notable level of export of its widely appreciated ranges.
