Halo Foods has awarded Wincanton, a UK provider of supply chain solutions, a three-year contract for the provision of transport services. Halo Foods, owned by Finnish food producer Raisio, has given Wincanton the responsibility of distributing all the pallets from Halo’s three operational manufacturing sites to retailers and wholesalers nationwide.

Richard Pimbley, Halo’s head of logisitics, explained the company’s decision of choosing Wincanton: “We felt we could make full us of their UK-wide network operations to ensure cost-effectiveness, operational efficiency and, most importantly of all, great service to our own customers.”
