Proform at ProSweets: Stand D039

16 January 2012 – Proform designs and builds high performance production machinery for the extrusion and forming of chewing and bubble gum, liquorice, fruit gum, toffee, hard or soft candies as well as biscuits, crackers or bread dough.

Proform will have information and videos available on their complete range of production machinery; highlights include:

In partnership with Hänsel Processing, the company have the technology to supply highly perfected production lines with optimal flexibility and simplicity. An entire line, from product cooking through its wrapping can be driven and controlled by one single supervisor, with an infinite number of memorised recipes.

The mixing extruder ME series is used for a wide variety of applications; one example is the production of grained, liquid filled soft candy that can be formed into pieces in a die former or in a ball forming machine. This type of extruder is also used for the continuous graining of neutral chewy mass, or the in-line blending of colouring and flavouring resulting in several possibilities of complete continuous mixing production lines. Almost no cleaning phase is required between different products and recipe changes are handled quickly.

Other applications: continuous mixing of chewing and bubble gum, of a fine quality, due to the PLC controlled process, which also reduces operator intervention.

With a change of configuration, these machines are also used to mix bread, biscuit or cracker dough, continuously supplying fresh dough to down stream forming equipment.
